48 Hr. Seattle Adventure

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Blogging and I have always had a rocky relationship. It’s one of those awkward on again, off again, love/hate type things.. the timing is never right..you get it?  If you follow me on instagram (@coffeethenchaos), you’d see that I’ve actually been up to a lot of things, like my Seattle Adventure!  But now I’m just bursting to share all the food, travels, coffee, […]

Bäco Mercat: Restaurant Review

Baco Mercat is one of those hipster/totally LA/rustic vibe type restaurants that you’ll completely fall in love with if you’re into that sort of thing. And I am. Sorry ’bout it. It’s a little place located on busy Main St. You could drive by it and not realize you passed it. That’s what almost happened to us. My sister, best friend, Heidi, and I were going to celebrate Heidi’s engagement on […]

Skylight Gardens Brunch

I met up with some of my favorite girls last Saturday at this lovely place called Skylight Gardens in Westwood. I’ve been here a handful of times, and literally every experience has been amazing. The servers are always awesome, the food tastes great, it’s never TOO crowded, and when you have bottomless mimosas, I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a great time. Skylights Gardens is a very appropriate name for this […]

Earthen

On CoffeeThenChaos, you see nice restaurants and what we eat on special occasions. Maggiano’s

We went to Maggiano’s at South Coast Plaza for Tiff’s 26th Birthday. We did something that we don’t normally do at restaurants, we ordered family style. Family style at Maggiano’s means 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 2 desserts in unlimited quantities for the whole table. We had a party of 6, so family style was pretty great. 2 words: Food. Coma. 1. Food -Appetizers Top: 1. Bread 2. House Salad […]

BurGR

So..um..we may be.. a tiny bit.. just a teen bit… addicted to MASTER CHEF/JUNIOR. Lovable Gordon Ramsay, food, AND cute kids?! Come on. How can a show get ANY better? After Jessica binge watched the first season, she just had to try Gordon Ramsay’s food. What Jessica wants, Jessica gets. So Tracie, Tiffany, June, and Jessica just picked themselves up and landed themselves in Vegas to try BurGR. 1. Food […]

Seasons 52

Restaurant Review! The end of the year is hectic and fun for so many people. Who doesn’t love the holidays? But it’s especially busy for the people in our family (we are basically sisters) because we also happen to have the most birthdays to celebrate from September-December (on top of all the holiday festivities). It usually means your scale is hurtin’ because of all the grubbin’. BUT! Our awesome friend, June, […]

Cucina Enoteca @ Irvine Spectrum

Our first restaurant review & it gets to be one of our favorite places, Cucina Enoteca! Before we launch into the review, there are a few things you should know about our espresso shot rating system. 1. We LOVE to eat, everywhere we go, food is one of our biggest priorities to having a good time. Our restaurant reviews will be heavily skewed towards the quality of food over everything else. […]
