The Attic is this wonderful little place on Broadway St. in Long Beach. If you’re not looking out for it, you may miss it because it looks kind of like a little house. They’re really famous for their bloody marys and if you look at their bloody mary menu, it’s quite extensive. They have all sorts of different add-ons and garnishes; almost every table around us was sipping on one of these drinks. Me? I stuck with my good old fashioned latte.
Another little dish The Attic is infamous for is their hot cheeto mac and cheese. WHAT. Yep. Hot. Cheeto. Mac. And. Cheese. It is an amazing combination and it does not disappoint. One little complaint, I ordered my mac and cheese with avocado. It’s an add on that is SO California and usually I can shrug off that $2 fee, but as you can see in the photo, that tiny little cluster of avocado, NOT WORTH IT. Their warm spinach salad is also worth mentioning. It’s spinach, croutons, red onions, bacon, and a poached egg. SO GOOD.
My outfit for the day was this:
A simple white tee from Mango, skinny blue jeans from AE, black pumps from BCBG, and a long knit cardigan from Express. Low key and perfect for a little catch up sesh/brunch with a good friend.
